The Ford Motor Credit Company (Ford Credit) has received the regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank(the Bank) to be headquartered in Salt Lake City Utah.

The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles parts accessories EV Infrastructure and software and will accept deposits with competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Credit an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (Ford).

The proposed Bank will be a strategic addition to Ford Credit and is key to providing the capabilities needed to meet the financing expectations of Ford customers. In This Position

The CRA Officer will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and Bank Management. This role is responsible for developing implementing and leading the CRA Program of the Bank. Likewise the CRA Officer will lead the Banks efforts to meet the goals and objectives of the CRA Program resulting in a desirable regulatory rating and demonstrated compliance with federal Community Reinvestment Act requirements and regulations.



Responsibilities

What Youll Do

  • Development of the Banks CRA program and its plan for meeting the credit needs of its community and the execution thereof; you will submit at least an annual assessment against the goals of the CRA Plan to the CRA Committee with the Committee to report the results of that assessment to the Board. The CRA Officer will also provide a report at each meeting of the CRA Committee of CRA-related activities that have occurred since the prior report to the CRA Committee
  • Responsible for monitoring the community development activities and assessing the needs of the community. Working with members of Management the Board and active community groups the CRA Officer is expected to take the lead in developing the CRA Plan and submitting it for approval.
  • Advise Management on CRA opportunities and strategies and monitor the Banks progress toward meeting this Plan and subsequent targets established in the Plan.
  • Direct the Community Development loans and investment portfolio including identification of opportunities focused on CRA loans and investments consistent with the Bank Community Development objectives and overseeing and directing the origination servicing and allocation of loan and investment funds within the portfolio.
  • Lead Community outreach and Identification of CRA pertinent needs of our assessment area; Through contact with government officials and community leaders in the banks CRA assessment area identifies credit and services needs within the community and works with senior management to develop programs and sets goals to meet such needs as are identified within the context of the banks business model and peer performance
  • Responsible to evaluate and adjust as appropriate the Program in light of any relevant changes in the needs of the community in which the Bank serves and consistent with the purpose of the Bank and the goals and objectives described in the CRA Plan.
  • Maintenance and management of CRA recording/reporting systems; Creates updates and maintains continuous records of CRA qualified products delivered loans applied for and granted and services provided within the CRA assessment area to facilitate periodic review of the banks CRA compliance level and CRA performance.
  • Updates the CRA Public File as of April 1st of each year. The public file shall contain:
  • All written comments received from the public for the current year and each of the prior two calendar years that specifically relate to the Banks performance in helping meet community credit needs.
  • All responses made by the Bank to written comments made by the public.
  • Within 30 days of receipt a copy of the public section of the Banks most recent CRA performance evaluation.
  • A list of services (including hours of operation available products and applicable fees) offered by the Bank.
  • A map of the Banks assessment area.
  • Any additional information as applicable. as needed.
  • The Bank CRA Officer in collaboration with the CCO and the Training program set forth within the Bank Compliance Management System must conduct periodic training on employee responsibilities under the Program. The Bank CRA Officer in conjunction with the Bank CCO is required to retain records of training activities and records of all crimes against the Bank.
  • Ongoing monitoring of and reporting on the banks CRA performance and compliance standing; Maintains an ongoing monitoring program which will provide management with timely information about the banks CRA compliance position and gaps in CRA delivery of services products and investments to allow management to modify its goals and activities as required to maintain a Satisfactory CRA compliance rating
  • Travel to main office locations at least 20% of the year


Qualifications

What Youll Have

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related field
  • Ten or more years of demonstrated strong CRA performance experience deep knowledge of CRA regulatory compliance requirements
  • Seven or more years of related financial institution or regulatory experience
  • Skill in the selection development and management of vendors and community partners
  • Attentive to deadlines and detail
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills Our Preferred Requirements
