JOB SUMMARY

What: The successful candidate will partner with the direct engagement lead to coordinate and implement programs in the DPS Cork Plant related to direct engagement communications cultural transformation and change management across the site. This role will ensure smooth operations internal compliance and foster a positive work environment. reporting to the Direct Engagement lead this person will work in close partnership with Site HR Leader and Site Leadership when needed on an overall execution of communications strategy that supports our Joints MedTech and J&J business priorities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Program execution & tracking

  • Maintain consolidated plans for strategic initiatives track milestones and dependencies and ensure timely escalation with recommended mitigations.
  • Produce concise data-driven progress reports for Site Leadership team on key cultural communication and engagement initiatives.

Internal communications (high-impact initiatives)

  • Responsible for the leading planning and delivery of key communications including but not limited to Quarterly Town Halls employee forum shift communications.
  • Ensure messages are aligned with campus and global communications and maintain confidentiality and reputational risk mitigation.

Employee Forum & engagement operations

  • Manage Employee Forum cadence (scheduling meeting facilitation minutes action tracking) and act as primary liaison for forum members.
  • Partnering with HR & Operations
    • Work with Site BUHR and Operations leaders to ensure compliance with people processes (attendance absence leave performance monitoring) and identify efficiency improvements.

Effective Change Management & Adoption

  • Champions Inclusion

  • Lead the people side of change helping employees adapt to new processes technology or structures.

  • Develop and maintain the change management plan aligned to program objectives timelines and risks.

  • Own stakeholder mapping and influence strategy: identify sponsors champions managers and end-user segments; specify engagement approach and cadence.

  • Activate and coach sponsors and senior leaders to provide visible timely support and reinforce the change message.
  • Design and deliver manager enablement (toolkits scripts briefing packs) so managers can lead team-level conversations and drive adoption.

Additional responsibilities to add in

  • Accountable for identifying building and execution of development opportunities for the site team leader population
  • Engage with people leadership in operations to advance employee engagement on business-critical topics like parts per machine cross training and others as required
  • Liaise with the site BUHR leader and Operations department people leaders on execution of day-to-day engagement initiatives to gain efficiencies; examples like performance tracking and monitoring within operations ensuring business compliance with HR policies and procedure implementing systems to centralize process across operations
  • Engagement with operations people leaders to ensure timely management of business process on time and attendance absence and leave management etc
  • Under the direction of the Direct Engagement lead manage the day-to-day interactions with our contingent worker partner on all topics related to engagement of our CPL colleagues
  • Develop & execute on the engagement interactions with our employees for the site; monthly shift comms townhalls ongoing regular feedback with all shifts and office based employees
  • Act as the key liaison for our employee forum members as well as manage engagement with our employee forum including the regular cadence of meetings and management for questions as and when raised
  • Responsible for other site engagement and culture elements including family day end of year magazine and Christmas events where applicable.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Degree level educated (accredited institution) in one of these fields or similar: Human Resources Communications Engineering Science Production / Supply Chain Management Lean Operations. Other degree level qualifications considered with relevant experience.

Project execution experience

Excellent communication (written and verbal) interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion is crucial.

Proven track record in executing change initiatives that have delivered breakthrough results for an organization.

Minimum of 5 years overall business experience required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS:

Demonstrated ability to shape and influence at a senior leadership level.

Works and communicates well with others in a team environment.

Follows appropriate safety practices to prevent accidents to self or others.
