Job Description:
The Vascular Surgery Nurse Navigator serves as a clinician and clinical administrator for the Wound and Vascular surgery department. Navigates vascular and wound surgery education patient evaluation of documentation and proper charging related to the care delivered in the outpatient setting and responds to patient provider and referring physician inquiries. Promotes patient safety by adhering to institutional and departmental policies and by practicing high standards of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
2. BSN preferred
3. Recent clinical experience in specialty field preferred.
4. Proficiency in selected Microsoft Office
5. Exhibits accuracy integrity and flexibility; is punctual and dependable.
6. Possesses organizational problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
7. Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction and effectiveness under minimal supervision.
8. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills; possesses group facilitation skills.
9. Current BLS required
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN preferred
Recent clinical experience in specialty field preferred.
