As aSenior Network Security Engineeryou will design implement and configure secure network solutions for mid-to-enterprise-level clients using cutting-edge technologies. Sentinel excels with the ability to support our teams professionally across our organization to be successful and at the forefront of technologies.This is a direct hire opportunity for our office in Tempe Arizona and does require local travel for deployment projects.
What Youll Do:
- Design implement and support secure network solutions for a variety of client environments.
- Work hands-on withCisco routers and switchesto optimize and secure network infrastructure.
- Deploy and manageCisco Palo Alto and Fortinetfirewall solutions.
- Architect and implementlarge-scale network security solutions(3 years of experience required).
- Configure and maintainCisco Security productssuch as ISE FDT FMC AMP and Umbrella.
- Perform migrations and upgrades across various network and security platforms.
- Implementwireless networksusing Cisco Wireless LAN controllers in both centralized and converged access deployments.
- Work withCisco ACI and SD-WAN (experience in these areas is a plus).
- Provide exceptional customer support and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience working with Cisco Palo Alto and/or Fortinet solutions
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches is required
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing large scale network security solutions
- CCNP Certification or equivalent manufacture certification or higher is preferred
- Experience with Cisco Security products such as FDT FMC AMP Umbrella
- Experience in performing migrations and upgrades on various platforms is a plus
- Familiar implementing wireless networks with Cisco wireless LAN controllers using both traditional centralized deployments as well as converged access is a plus
- Cisco ACI and SD WAN experience is a plus
- The candidate must have a car as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a can-do attitude
