About the role:

Reporting to the Supervisor Process Maintenance the Pipefitter is responsible forinstalling and maintaining pipingsystems at our Greenhills Operation.

Schedule: This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 straight day shift schedule. Come experience what work life balance is all about!

The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Elkford B.C is necessary.

In this role you will:

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Fabricate and install piping arrangements for slurry water and refuse lines ranging from 2 to 36
Diagnosepipingsystem failures in the processing facility
Disassemble and reassemble system components
Weld cement and thread joints to join pipesusing soldering and welding equipment
Maintain create and record work order records
In certain components of this role it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal.

Requirements:

Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter certification
Ability to read and interpretblueprintsand project specifications
Small Water and Small Wastewater systems ticket would be an asset
Valid drivers license
Working knowledge of basic computer systems (Microsoft Office)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to work cross functionally between trades
Experience in a mining environment is an asset

Hourly Wage: $ 53.78
