About the role

We know theres nothing more personal (or human) than your health so were looking for someone to bring our internal communications to life. With a focus on interpreting and simplifying our strategy into clear and engaging assets the Internal Communications Lead ensures our people are on the same page no matter their team or location.

Our Communications team is the heart of our business. From member communications to internal storytelling they cover it all so this new role will support the Manager Communications & Community Engagement to develop capture and share our exciting internal stories. At Health Partners were friendly genuine and a bit charming so this means communicating strategic updates in a way that makes people sit up tune in and understand. Youll coordinate internal assets and work with passionate stakeholders so our internal stories are engaging clear and human.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic communications: Interpret and simplify Health Partners overarching strategy into digestible audience-specific communications that resonate across business units engage our people and feel human.
  • Content Development: Create compelling internal communication materials (e.g. newsletters audio video intranet articles leadership messages FAQs toolkits) tailored to different stakeholder groups.
  • Change Management Support: Collaborate with the Change Management team to design and deliver communication plans that support organisational change across people processes systems and culture.
  • Support Manager Communications & Community Engagement with ad hoc member and community engagement communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with leaders and managers to ensure consistent messaging and provide guidance on effective communication practices.
  • Channel Management: Oversee internal communication channels ensuring messages are timely relevant and accessible.
  • Measurement & Feedback: Track communication effectiveness through surveys feedback loops and analytics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Community Building: Reinforce company values and desired cultural shifts through storytelling campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.

About you

Youre passionate about bringing stories to life and youre a whizz with making a message land at the right time for the right audience in the right medium. Theres no in-the-box thinking here!

To be our Internal Communications Lead youve worked in this field for a couple of years so youve got some serious storytelling skills (and can back it up with a solid communications plan and asset production skills). Youre comfortable working with all kinds of stakeholders from Executive to contact centre staff and Health Services and you relish simplifying complex ideas into engaging stories and assets so theyre clear and most important human for your audience.

  • Minimum 3 years strong communications experience (corporate or equivalent).
  • Exceptional writing editing and proof-reading skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate key messages that are consistent relevant clear engagingand strike a chord.
  • Proven knowledge of contemporary communication and content design practices.
  • Proven ability and experience in asset creation (video and audio recording basic design skills).
  • Experience participating in high profile communication projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience engaging with suppliers (mail-house agencies freelancers) to deliver communication activities.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills proven to enhance effective working relationships.
  • Alignment with Health Partners values.
  • Qualifications in Communications Journalism or a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
