Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified APRN to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will provide high-quality primary care services to patients across the lifespan collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages including diagnosis treatment coordination of care preventive care and health maintenance.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care health promotion and disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Stay current with advances in medical knowledge and best practices in advanced practice nursing.
Requirements
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Kansas.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or another relevant specialty.
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
