Job Title: Cleaning & Laundry Attendant
Location: University Club of Saint Paul
Position Summary
The Cleaning & Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and well-organized environment throughout the University Club of Saint Paul. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all club areas linens and uniforms meet the Clubs high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Duties
- Clean and sanitize club spaces including dining rooms lounges meeting rooms restrooms offices and back-of-house areas
- Sweep mop vacuum dust and polish floors furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash and recycling and properly dispose of waste
- Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation standards
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly
Laundry Duties
- Wash dry fold and organize linens towels tablecloths and staff uniforms
- Inspect linens and uniforms for damage or excessive wear and report issues
- Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of laundry equipment
- Ensure adequate inventory of clean linens at all times
Qualifications
- Prior cleaning or laundry experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 40 lbs
- Dependable punctual and professional demeanor
Schedule & Availability
- Flexible schedule including mornings evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Work Environment
- Fast-paced private club environment
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment (training provided)
