Thenamaris invites high-caliber professionals with the requested qualifications to apply for the position of PMS Engineer. The role belongs in the team of PMS Engineers which supports our three Management Companies: Thenamaris Thenamaris ConBulk and Thenamaris LNG.
The Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Engineer is responsible for structuring the vessels technical equipment hierarchy for newbuilding and secondhand vessels including creation or amendment of required planned maintenance works and related job descriptions based on industry requirements and through the constant review of vessels drawings and feedback from the end users. The role also monitors the controlled spares the bulk requisitioning process and other special purchase orders assisting where necessary.
Suggesting the classification of critical equipment delivering training to the end-users onboard or ashore and offering daily support to them are equally important accountabilities of this role.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Mechanical or Marine or Electrical Engineering from a University or Technical Institution.
- Previous experience of 1-3 years at similar roles with proven exposure to PMS systems as well as shipping industry awareness and specific exposure to technical roles are considered important.
- Knowledge on vessels machinery equipment.
- Familiarity with IT systems and automated processes. Familiarity with NS Enterprise system of ABS is considered an asset.
- Excellent use of the English language at a written and oral level.
