Laundry Washperson (April to October)

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality atFairmontJasper Park Lodgeasour new Laundry Washperson. As a Laundry Washperson your care and attention to detail in daily operations will help maintain the high standards of our hotel linens contributing directly to a clean comfortable and memorable guest experience.  

What you will be doing: 

Reporting to the LaundryManager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Consistently offer professionalfriendlyand engaging service 
• Follow departmental policiesproceduresand service standards 
• Separate and wash all laundry 
• Efficiently load and unload machines based on volume requirements 
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 
• Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department 
• Must be flexible in regards to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required) 
• Adhere to the hotels vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles 
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies 
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions 
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities 
• Highly responsible & reliable 
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision 
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times 

Visa Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable toassistcandidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
