Senior Web Developer

This role can be based in our New York NY Washington DC and Shawnee KS office.

Informas Aviation group Aviation Week Network is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer with extensive experience and proficiency in React and . 

Role Accountability and Duties:

• Design and develop robust scalable and maintainable web applications using JavaScript and modern frameworks specifically React and
• Collaborate with product managers designers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Write clean efficient and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Optimize application performance ensuring fast load times and smooth user experiences
• Implement and maintain API integrations with third-party services and internal systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner ensuring minimal disruption to the end users
• Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies and incorporate them into your work as appropriate.
• Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications :

• BS/BA preferably in Computer Science or other technical analysis or mathematics subject area (will consider experience in lieu of a degree for highly qualified applicants) preferred.
• 8 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on React and
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale web applications
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with RESTful APIs JSON and integrating front-end interfaces with backend services
• Strong understanding of version control systems particularly Git
• Experience working in an Agile fast-paced development environment
• Experience identifying and understanding organizational and user requirements and specifications and translating those into quality code
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with other team members and customers (technical and non-technical)
• Must be able to think creatively and analyze/solve difficult problems with logic and tenacity
• A demonstrated ability to work independently on complex tasks with little direction supervision or management oversight
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of database management systems including MongoDB MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Advanced skills in Python programming
• Solid experience with PHP development

The salary range for this role is $110K- $130K/YR based on experience.
