Job Summary
Housekeeper / Grounds Maintenance Hybrid Position: Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the apartment complex in a safe clean and habitable condition by cleaning unoccupied units. This includes but is not limited to washing dusting sweeping mopping waxing rinsing polishing shampooing apartments and kitchens and upkeep of the buildings on property. Reports to direct Manager each morning; will receive specific instructions from your supervisor regarding your activities for the day. Expected to perform the assigned activities independently; that is should require only final inspection and approval by your supervisor. Expected to report any problems or potential problems associated with your assigned duties to your supervisor. Your supervisor may delegate the authority to assign and approve your tasks to the other staff. You must inform your supervisor of any changes which may affect your performance of previously assigned tasks. You are responsible for the performance of all assignments and may be formally or informally evaluated on the basis of any assignment whether made directly by your supervisor or delegated. Common goals: Maximize the apartment occupancy rate in our complexes and to control costs involved in operating our complexes. Perform all duties accurately and consistently takes pride in completing tasks and work. Job also includes snow removal grounds upkeep cleaning of kitchens and more etc.
