Production Planner duties:

Executes manufacturing production plans using MRP coordinating materials schedules and engineering changes across teams to ensure on-time delivery of capital equipment products.
Create Bills of Material (BOMs) from MRP when required
Plan inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory
Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) including issuing changes to the shop floor and coordinating updates for jobs in progress and materials on order or in stock
Close production orders and ensure costs are accurately captured
Review open orders backorders and forecast data to identify and resolve potential issues
