We are hiring for our client a highly regarded professional services firm to appoint a Financial Accountant on a temporary contract (69 months). This Financial Accountant opportunity is based in Belfast and offers hybrid working following an initial onboarding period.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualifiedAccountant making a first move from practice or for a Financial Accountant seeking a fresh challenge within a professional fast-paced environment. With an immediate start available the successful Financial Accountant will play a key role supporting financial reporting controls and month-end processes.

The Role
As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
Month-end close activities including journals accruals and reconciliations
Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Assisting with process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects
Working closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business
The Person
ACA qualified
Experience gained within accountancy practice or a similar professional environment
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
