What You Will Achieve

The Transportation Quality Officer is accountable for providing short term (day to day) and medium term (weekly/monthly) operational qualitysupportto GLNS and associated Quality Operations Management for Pfizer.

TheTransportation Quality Officer willprovide real time operational support to ensure the supply continuity of critical Pfizer small parcel operations from manufacturing sites direct to customer and/or Distributor.

Within the Quality Operations Team the Transportation Quality Officer will provide lead technical support to/for operational unit and logistics operations counterparts support departmental workload division monitor and assure task execution as directed by the operations unit management.

This position includes leading process and procedural revision (as assigned) improvement projects and support colleague development within immediate team.

TheTransportation Quality Officer will have significant interactions with many internal and external stakeholders.

Working both independently and as part of an operational quality team the Transportation Quality Officer will work with minimal supervision interacting with corresponding counterparts and management both internally and externally within Pfizer.

The Transportation Quality Officer will have significant interactions with many internal business and manufacturing organizations (e.g. SOQ PGS site GLNS External Supply etc.).

How You Will Achieve It

• Ensurethatas part of routine operationsmall parcel shipping processes are conducted in a continuousGMDP compliantmanner working to establishedQualitysystemswithin Pfizer.
• Support the Global Logistics Quality Deviation lead Quality Officers and operational counterparts with assuring the technical resolution of network events communications task division/workload management and project support (as required).
• Provide lead interaction and support to the compliance and logistics carrier quality operations management colleagues lead process and procedural revision (as assigned) improvement projects and support colleague development.
• Manage in-transit incidents that occur within small parcel shipping processes directly.
• Provide Quality support for significant deviations or failure investigations with small parcel shipping processes that may impact compliance status or require regulatory notifications.
• Manage changes within small parcel logistics operations.
• Supportsroutine shipment/new product launchlifecycle processesand assists with thephysical/digitaltechnology transfer( Chain transportation-related).
• Proactively support regulatoryor Pfizer-internalinspections at GLNS centersand ensure appropriate Pfizer review/approval responses to Regulatory Agencies/Internal Audit functionsincluding tracking of CAPAs.
• Support the ad-hoc SQRT SQRT and QRM related activities

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Minimally BA/BS Science Engineering or related technical discipline
• Preferably 3-5 years experience in a GxP setting
• Experience with external suppliers/contractors is preferred.
• Experience with Transportation ideal but not mandatory
• Current Good Distribution Practices experience with compliance issues resulting from cGMP/GDP deviations and processes
• Proactive approach and strong critical thinking skills
• Strong collaboration relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Strong command of written and spoke of English language essential where multi-lingual skills being strongly beneficial
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office applications and good knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP eQMS Documentum platforms

Nice-to-Have

• Masters degree
• Experience in Quality Systems in pharmaceutical medical device or combination product industry
• Knowledge or exposure to and data sciences
