Job Summary
Were seeking a skilled Architectural CAD Drafter / Designer to join our team and support the production of high-end residential architectural and interior design projects. You will translate design intent into detailed construction drawings coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and help manage project schedules and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce architectural drawings (DD & CD sets) for high-end residential projects.
- Coordinate drawings with architecture structural MEP and design teams.
- Maintain project schedules and material/finish schedules.
- Support construction administration RFIs submittal reviews and coordination.
- Ensure accuracy of drawings aligned with design intent and relevant codes.
- Interpret interior design direction into technical documents.
- Participate in project review meetings and support design development.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 35 years experience with high-end residential architecture/interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Familiarity with NJ/NY building codes or ability to quickly learn.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple timelines.
- Excellent communication skills for consultant/contractor coordination.
- Ability to convert design concepts into buildable drawings.
- Preferred: Experience with Rhino SketchUp or other 3D tools.
