Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will be a pivotal healthcare professional delivering compassionate high-quality care that truly impacts our patients well-being and recovery.
Every day you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized comprehensive care making critical assessments performing skilled procedures and meticulously implementing patient care plans. - Collects patient data based on diagnosis age and/or developmental age. Analyzes data collected.
- Plans and prioritizes individualized care based on the assessment utilizing nursing diagnosis including teaching and discharge needs of the patient and family and sets outcome goals in coordination with other disciplines.
- Ensures that the patient/family participates in the plan of care as able and that plan of care addresses age-specific and cultural needs.
- Implements appropriate standards based on assessment.
- Prioritizes and organizes care within the allotted time frames.
- Coordinates discharge steps or ensures appropriate referral to address timely appropriate discharge needs.
Job Requirements
- Two years acute care experience to include at least one year of Telemetry experience. (Exception: when unit operations are able to accommodate training management will consider RNs without Telemetry experience).
- Registered Nurse: CA upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
