About the Role
Are you a motivated creative and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in Key Stage 2 Our school in St Albans is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team starting as soon as possible.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a Year 3 class delivering high-quality teaching across all subjects while helping children develop the confidence independence and skills they need to thrive throughout Key Stage 2.
Your Responsibilities
As the Year 3 Teacher you will:
Plan and deliver lessons across the full curriculum that inspire challenge and engage pupils
Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing
Track and assess pupil progress using outcomes to inform planning and next steps
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND and higher-attaining pupils
Foster positive behaviour relationships and a culture of respect within the classroom
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning at home
Work collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to share best practice and improve outcomes
Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events initiatives and professional development
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a teacher who is:
Qualified with QTS and able to teach Key Stage 2
Enthusiastic creative and able to deliver lessons that capture childrens imagination
Committed to raising standards and promoting a love of learning
Adaptable reflective and willing to continually improve practice
An effective communicator and collaborative team player
Passionate about inclusion safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils
We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers as well as experienced teachers. Full support and mentoring will be provided for those who are newly qualified or returning to the classroom.
