About the Role

Are you a motivated creative and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in Key Stage 2 Our school in St Albans is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team starting as soon as possible.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a Year 3 class delivering high-quality teaching across all subjects while helping children develop the confidence independence and skills they need to thrive throughout Key Stage 2.

Your Responsibilities

As the Year 3 Teacher you will:

• Plan and deliver lessons across the full curriculum that inspire challenge and engage pupils

• Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing

• Track and assess pupil progress using outcomes to inform planning and next steps

• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND and higher-attaining pupils

• Foster positive behaviour relationships and a culture of respect within the classroom

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning at home

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to share best practice and improve outcomes

• Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events initiatives and professional development

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• Qualified with QTS and able to teach Key Stage 2

• Enthusiastic creative and able to deliver lessons that capture childrens imagination

• Committed to raising standards and promoting a love of learning

• Adaptable reflective and willing to continually improve practice

• An effective communicator and collaborative team player

• Passionate about inclusion safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils
