Shape the Foundation of Learning
We are seeking a passionate nurturing and innovative EYFS Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Luton starting as soon as possible. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with children in the Foundation Stage supporting their first formal experiences of school and laying the foundations for lifelong learning.
As the EYFS Teacher you will lead a Reception/FS2 class designing and delivering engaging play-based learning activities that foster curiosity independence and confidence. You will support childrens personal social and emotional development alongside early literacy and numeracy skills. The role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a creative collaborative environment and is committed to high-quality early years practice.
Our school values reflective practice innovation and teamwork. You will work alongside a supportive Early Years team teaching assistants and leadership to ensure every child receives tailored support that enables them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan deliver and evaluate high-quality play-based learning activities across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
Observe assess and record childrens progress to inform planning and track development
Provide a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Promote independence confidence and social-emotional skills in all children
Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive Early Years curriculum and support continuity into Year 1
Communicate effectively with parents and carers sharing progress and celebrating achievements
Support children in transitioning successfully to the next stage of their education
Maintain accurate records including assessment attendance and wellbeing documentation

Who Were Looking For
The successful candidate will be:
A qualified teacher with QTS and EYFS experience
Knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Confident in planning delivering and adapting play-based learning opportunities
Skilled in observing assessing and recording childrens progress
Patient nurturing and able to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Collaborative reflective and committed to professional development
Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
