We are working with a school in Barnet recruiting for a proactive Site Assistant to support their premises team. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with strong DIY skills who enjoys working in a busy child-centered environment.
The Role You will assist in the day-to-day operation of the school site ensuring all facilities are clean safe and fully functional. This is a permanent full-time position with a focus on preventative maintenance and groundskeeping. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the morning unlock and evening lock-up of the premises
Undertaking routine safety checks on playground equipment and internal fixtures
Managing deliveries and moving furniture for school assemblies and events
Carrying out seasonal grounds work including leaf clearing and gritting paths
Responding to emergency call-outs and minor site incidents as required
