The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as an Application Expert and play a key role in delivering advanced Generation Management System (GMS) solutions to customers across Europe Asia Africa and Oceania. You will work on cutting-edge technologies that enable reliable efficient and sustainable power generation worldwide.

How Youll Make an Impact

• Drive successful implementation of GMS applications tailored to customer requirements.
• Develop robust workflow integrations between SCADA/GMS and IT/OT systems.
• Support customers through testing training and technical problem resolution.
• Contribute to high-quality proposals and bids strengthening Hitachi Energys market position.
• Promote a culture of safety integrity and collaboration within every project.

Your Background

• Act as an application expert for GMS system deliveries to global customers and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with customer experts to configure GMS applications and design robust workflow integrations between SCADA/GMS and IT/OT systems.
• Create and execute test plans provide training on GMS functionalities and resolve technical issues in coordination with internal teams.
• Support proposal and tendering teams with technical expertise to deliver high-quality bids.
• Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in energy systems electrical engineering or computer science.
• Possess hands-on experience with SCADA/GMS systems and a solid understanding of Automatic Generation Control (AGC) and electric power generation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as C and FORTRAN.
• Exhibit strong analytical and communication skills thriving in dynamic multicultural environments.
• Be fluent in English (written and spoken) and willing to travel to customer locations.
