Thales Avionics (AVS) in Singapore conducts manufacturing and repair activities for aircraft OEMs and airlines respectively. This position is with the AVS Repair Unit (ARU Autonomous Repair Unit) in Singapore which is responsible for avionics in-flight entertainment and electrical systems maintenance repair and overhaul activities.

The Project Management Intern will support operations and project management activities related to repair retrofit programmes working closely with cross-functional teams including operations engineering quality supply chain and logistics. The role provides exposure to how global retrofit initiatives are prepared adapted and deployed within a regulated aerospace MRO environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the tuning and adaptation of worldwide retrofit requirements to align with local industrial and operational specificities during the retrofit preparation phase
  • Follow up on the installation readiness and deployment of required tools and processes for the PureFlyt retrofit programme within ARU
  • Assist in the validation of test benches including coordination of testing activities and facilitation of quality processes and documentation
  • Analyse and participate in supply chain testing activities to help improve stabilise and mature processes prior to the start of the retrofit programme
  • Support project management activities including tracking actions against the project plan monitoring milestones and preparing progress updates
  • Coordinate project activities across functions and liaise with relevant functional managers to ensure alignment issue resolution and timely execution
  • Support documentation of processes risks issues and action items related to retrofit preparation and operations readiness

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with project tracking coordination and structured documentation
  • Strong organisational communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Interest in operations project management or industrial environments
  • Exposure to regulated or quality-driven environments is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
