The Process Development Engineer Intern will support the engineering team in designing optimizing and validating manufacturing and business processes within a dynamic medical device environment. This internship offers hands-on experience in Design for Reliability and Manufacturability process development and continuous improvement initiatives. Interns will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies methodologies and Gemba activities while developing skills in process design data analysis and cross-functional collaboration. The role also provides valuable networking opportunities and mentorship from experienced engineers and highly skilled subject matter experts.

Location: Tolochenaz
Duration: 6 months
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Working model: on-site
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance quality efficiency and safety
Support process validation activities including data collection analysis and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering quality production) to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues
Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate process changes and their impact
Document procedures findings and recommendations in technical reports
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma etc.)
Required Knowledge:
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Materials Mechanical Chemical Microtechnology Biomedical) or related field
Fluency in French and English with strong verbal & written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Would be a plus:
Familiarity with process mapping statistical analysis or engineering software
