Credit Consultant

Superloans is a New Zealand owned finance company proud to be providing lending solutions to everyday kiwis for over 20 years. We are looking for a Credit Consultant to join our Credit Team based at our head office in Porirua. You will be contracted to work between 37 45 hours per week across Monday Saturday but currently rostered to work 37 hours Tuesday Saturday. As rosters can vary from time to time youll need the flexibility to work up to 45 hours a week when required particularly during peak periods.

Our Credit Team are responsible for assessing and determining appropriate outcomes for customer loan applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Reviewing and assessing customer loan applications against our lending criteria
• Ensuring each credit assessment is accurate and complete by following our application vetting process
• Communicating with customers and third parties to collect clarify or verify financial information
• Making informed lending recommendations and communicating applications outcomes

Our credit team play a critical role in our business so getting the right fit is important! This role calls for strong analytical and communication skills. Youll enjoy working with data solving problems and making well-reasoned decisions. Experience in lending banking or financial services is a bonus but were equally keen to hear from those new to the industry who can show accuracy integrity and good judgement. Youll bring a sharp eye for detail confidence using digital tools and the ability to interpret information to make smart responsible lending decisions.
