POSITION SUMMARY

This role is a seasoned Account Manager who has developed long term relationships as atrusted advisor with a portfolio of clients connecting with key business executives role configures prices and quotes solutions for the customerand has theknowledge to connect with the highest-level internal resources to initiate cross-selling opportunities and broker deals. Aftersecuring the order this role manages the order and solves complex issues as needed to meet allcustomer requirements to maximize profitability to the office and company. This role helps lead companyinitiativesin theirterritory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and maintains a Sales Plan for each assigned account and finds new clientsandopportunities.
  • Sells Vertiv products and services toclient representatives such as engineersarchitects or other professional and technical personnel at commercial industrial andotherestablishments.
  • Collaborates withother Account Representative in the territory to offer the bestpossible customer experience to Vertivcustomers.
  • Achieves or exceeds salesquota.
  • Maintains a pipeline in CRM with 3x quota level of personal salesactivity.
  • Develops trusted advisor relationships with highest level decision makers in our customerorganizations and our internalorganization.
  • Prepares and follows up onquotations.
  • Provides general sales support tocustomers.
  • Builds rapport with customers through regular in-field customervisits.
  • Prepares customer submittals from order entry toshipment.
  • Mentorsother members of the team in technical and commercial aspects of the role and other areas of professional development.
  • Assists Sales Manager(s) with Sales Strategies
  • Assists Sales Manager(s) GM with special projects/ related tasks
  • Viewed as subject matter expert and sought by others for guidance and advice.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 8 years of successful sales experience technical sales experiencepreferred
  • Shows product expertise in one or more Vertiv products; able to effectively educateothers
  • Strong interpersonal skills amust
  • Strongcommercial and technical backgroundand skillspreferred
  • Self Starter Creative and Critical thinker with the proven ability work independently attimes
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to win business including accountplans
  • Strong organizational skills detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities isrequired along with excellent problem-solvingabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel andOutlook
  • Competence in all aspects of internal Liebert sales and order entry functions andpolicies.
  • Competency in all Liebert products and services in line of business and adjacent lines ofbusiness to enable cross-selling
  • Bring customer-first mindset in external and internal collaborations.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business-related degree (or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience) MBA preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED

  • 25% - 50%
