Job Summary
ABOUT US:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Familiar with steel fabrication pipe and steel nomenclature
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Able to operate a variety of equipment including forklifts loaders man lifts scissor lifts plow truck
- Must pass pre-employment Physical Alcohol & Drug Test
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS
- Keep yard maintained organized and clean
- Staging of material required for upcoming jobs
- Offloading/loading raw and finished goods in a safe responsible manner (Pipe structural steel etc.)
- Work alone safely and responsibly work collaboratively in a team environment during periods of high activity/capacity
- Maintain light daily maintenance on yard equipment
- Snow removal
COMMUNICATION
- Communicate with department heads to supply the Production plant with material when and where required
- Contribute to conversation better ways to organize/stage material in the yard
- Promote Startecs Core Values visions mission Code of Ethics policies and procedures operating instructions and standards both internally and externally and oversee the adherence to the prescribed organizational values
