Description
This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
As a Urologist you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the well-being of our patients while working alongside a team of professionals committed to delivering the highest standards of medical care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat urological conditions and diseases
- Perform urological surgeries and procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on urological health and preventive care
- Stay current with advancements in urology and medical practices
- Participate in continuous medical education and training
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Experience in urology ideally in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills in urology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts
1-2 OR days per week
Call Requirement: 7 days per month
Daily Volume: 30-50 patients in the clinic
Cases: Bread & butter urology
Facility has 2 new ORs with DaVinci robots
Support Staff: 2 APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
