Description
This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for an Associate-level medical professional to work on-site within a fast-paced medical practice environment.
As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine patient needs
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Participate in patient consultations and discussions regarding imaging results
- Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology and techniques
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) with a focus on Radiology
- Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of West Virginia
- Strong understanding of radiological imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 7a-4p
Daily Volume: 6-10 procedures
Board certification required
