Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java / Groovy Developer with experience working in modern DevOps environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and integrating RESTful APIs managing CI/CD pipelines and supporting system observability and performance through monitoring tools. This role involves close collaboration within agile teams and a strong focus on quality reliability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Technical Delivery
Design develop and maintain applications using Java and Groovy.
Build integrate and test RESTful APIs to support scalable system interactions.
Configure manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
Perform feature development enhancements bug fixes and technical optimizations.
Conduct technical analysis feasibility assessments and contribute to Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Identify troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitoring & Observability
Implement and maintain system monitoring and observability using tools such as Grafana.
Track system metrics and performance indicators to ensure platform stability and reliability.
Support proactive issue detection and resolution to maintain system health.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
Work closely within agile Scrum teams to understand requirements and deliver agreed outcomes.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and alignment.
Provide clear and timely status updates to team members and leadership.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure adherence to coding standards quality benchmarks and best practices.
Contribute ideas to improve development processes tools and delivery efficiency.
Stay current with relevant technologies frameworks and DevOps practices to enhance productivity.
