Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing for a night shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires clinical competence flexibility and the ability to safely care for a diverse adult patient population.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
Perform ongoing patient assessments including cardiac monitoring and interpretation
Administer medications treatments and IV therapies per provider orders
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality outcomes
Float to other units as needed within scope of skill set
Comply with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN license (must be in hand)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Recent Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience

Preferred Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Experience floating between compatible acute care units
Excellent communication time management and critical-thinking abilities
