Job Summary

Summary:
This Cleanroom Expeditor is responsible for facilitating the work of both compounding technicians and the supervising pharmacist by using the production schedule to place each correct order in front of Compounding Technicians which maximizes efficiency.
Essential functions:
- Follow the order schedule to place the correct order in each Laminar Air Flow Hood
- Safely send each finished order out of the cleanroom
- Maintain supply inventory levels
- Acquire drugs and supplies from external support staff
- Accurately input batch record data to electronic database
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a sterile environment preferred.
Desired Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong discipline and following of Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly.
- Must be able to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment from head to toe during shift must be comfortable with surgical mask/goggles on face
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds routinely during shift
- Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time
- Must be capable of bending and reaching over head
