Job Summary
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
Were seeking a caregiver to provide support to a 38-year-old man. He requiresassistance with all ADLs. He enjoys games coloring fun activities but most importantly make sure he is safe at all times andcreating a positive and enjoyable environment.
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour
Schedule:Mon Tues and Thurs from 2pm - 8pm Fri from 2pm - 10pm and if possible Sat from 11am - 11pm
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you:
- Have a positiveoutlook and contagious energy
- Demonstrate patience and compassion
Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Supporting with personal hygiene
- Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
