Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Wound Care/ Treatment Nurseto become part of our facilitys compassionate care-giving team. We are searching for a dedicated compassionate and energetic individual to come join our team and be a vital link between our patients nurses and other facility staff!
Wound Nurse - Treatment Nurse
LVN or RN
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm & Weekend On-Call Rotation
The Job
The purpose of this position is to supervise provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with Community policies and procedures and to assess residents care needs and take appropriate action
Responsibilities
- Take appropriate action to assure adequate staffing to provide resident care.
- Participate in coaching/discipline hiring and termination decisions of direct care staff.
- Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action.
- Implement Community procedures to provide resident care.
Must haves:
- Must have a current and valid LVNor RNnursing license or a current and valid LVN or RN license from a Compact Party State.
- Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing a must
- 1 plus year of wound care or treatment nursing experience is a must
- Certified Wound Care/ Treatment Nurse A PLUS
