Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Patient Care Associatefor an exciting job in New York NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record vital signs intake/output and pain assessments (non-pediatric)

  • Assist with clinical procedures (specimen collection venipuncture EKGs compression devices post-mortem care)

  • Support ADLs: feeding bathing toileting mobility positioning and ambulation

  • Provide patient observation for safety suicide prevention or elopement risk as assigned

  • Assist RNs with procedures and clinical setup

  • Maintain isolation precautions and a safe clean patient environment

  • Perform purposeful rounding and document care in electronic systems

  • Assist with meals patient transport equipment and unit communication systems

  • Greet visitors answer phones respond to call lights and support admissions/discharges

  • Promote culturally sensitive and respectful patient care

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 39 months healthcare experience preferred

  • AHA Heartsaver or BLS certification

  • Strong communication skills task prioritization and physical stamina
