Patient Care Associate (PCA)

Shift: 3:00 PM 11:15 PM
Pay Rate: $18$21/hr
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Patient Care Associatefor an exciting job in New York NY.
Key Responsibilities
Record vital signs intake/output and pain assessments (non-pediatric)
Assist with clinical procedures (specimen collection venipuncture EKGs compression devices post-mortem care)
Support ADLs: feeding bathing toileting mobility positioning and ambulation
Provide patient observation for safety suicide prevention or elopement risk as assigned
Assist RNs with procedures and clinical setup
Maintain isolation precautions and a safe clean patient environment
Perform purposeful rounding and document care in electronic systems
Assist with meals patient transport equipment and unit communication systems
Greet visitors answer phones respond to call lights and support admissions/discharges
Promote culturally sensitive and respectful patient care
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
39 months healthcare experience preferred
AHA Heartsaver or BLS certification
Strong communication skills task prioritization and physical stamina
