Location: Tucson AZ (85745)
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Duration: 15 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $85 $90/hr
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based speech and language services to students in a special education setting. The SLP will assess diagnose and treat communication disorders while collaborating with educators families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat speech language communication and related disorders
Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with IDEA requirements
Provide individual and group therapy including AAC support as needed
Collaborate with teachers specialists and families
Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and required reporting
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Arizona SLP license (or eligibility)
CCC-SLP preferred or Clinical Fellowship eligible
School or pediatric experience preferred; AAC and special education experience a plus
