Job Summary
Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: $80 $85 per hour
Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Catheterization Lab assignment. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
Monitor patients before during and after procedures
Administer medications including conscious sedation per protocol
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to safety standards
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
Experience with conscious sedation
Education Requirements
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
