Job Summary

Temp To Full-Time

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a fluxcore MIG Welder for a role with steel and metal shop in the Northeast Portland area.

In this role you should be comfortable working independently and with a variety of metals including but not limited to stainless steel steel and aluminum.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00HR

Shifts open:

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Welder Responsibilities:

Utilize fluxcore MIG on mild steel to weld as required by the manufacturing process.
Operate shop equipment including: angle grinder bench grinder manual vertical band saw shear brake punch presses iron workers cold saw manual milling machine table saw and others as directed.
Willingness to provide support in other areas of the manufacturing process if needed.
Read and fabricate from prints.

Welder Qualifications:

1 year of fluxcore MIG welding on mild steel.
Understanding of welding blueprints.
Ability to operate relevant shop equipment.
Ability to work well within a team.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
