We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain GNSS Onboard Unit software for time-critical this role you will design implement and test high-quality embedded C software working closely with product and design teams to translate customer and product requirements into robust platform capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Software development implementation and testing of embedded GNSS Onboard-Unit Software and related tools
- Develop clean elegant well-commented and reusable code which is easy to maintain and extend.
- Work closely with our product and design teams and translate customer experiences and product features into capabilities on our platforms
Your Profile:
A technical degree preferably a Masters in systems engineering software architecture computer science information technology or a related field.
5 years of professional experience in embedded software development for time-critical (RTOS) applications.
Expert-level proficiency in C is required; knowledge of IBM Rational Rhapsody is a plus.
Familiarity with application interfaces for communication protocols particularly GNSS 3G/4G and LWM2M is desirable.
Proven experience in developing testable code implementing automated unit tests and working with automated test environments.
A proactive approach strong teamwork skills and effective communication abilities.
Experience with tools such as Jira Confluence GIT Jenkins and SVN is advantageous as is familiarity with Kibana and Grafana.
Business-fluent English is essential; German language skills are an asset.
