Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Technician to join our integration business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install cabling field devices headend equipment and basic programming for a variety of low voltage systems
- Analyze blueprints schematics and system drawings
- Ensure projects are completed within state and local regulations and project specifications
- Participate in approved job-related training and development programs
- Follow company and site safety guidelines utilizing best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Update & maintain project documentation
- Ensure quality control for assigned task
- Material management for assigned projects
- Monitor and manage subcontractors
- Responsible for updating management on the status of all work performed daily
- Perform additional technician-related functions as assigned by management
- Clean up work area daily
- Maintain assigned vehicle and company equipment
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in structured cabling electronics or a related field is a plus
- Basic understanding of structured cabling principles including copper and fiber optic cabling standards and installation techniques
- Familiarity with electronic security systems such as access control CCTV fire alarm and intrusion detection is desirable
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabling and electronic security installations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
