Bid Managers to Saab Surveillance

Your role

As a Bid Manageryou are responsible for leading and coordinating the product offer creation ensuring that all bids are compliant well-structured and aligned with both customer requirements and regulatory standards while managing deviations and risks to maintain feasibility and profitability.

We are now searching for bid managers to be part of a bid team with competences in

• Project Management

• Product Management

• ILS

• System Engineering

Your primary focus will be to prepare and deliver the total product offer from our Product Unit Giraffe xA and working with improving and facilitating our transformation to a more product centric product offering.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be as follow:

• To plan compile and finalize the product offer for Giraffe xA
• To review the Request for proposal (RFP) Request for Information (RFI) etc.
• Identify and analyze deviations between customers requirements and Saabs principles and set requirements.
• To lead and coordinate the internal PU Giraffe xA bid work including prepare the product offer with required quality (proposal structure layout etc.) and within bid budget and timeframe.
• To identify deviations from bid plan and bid budget and ensure the development and implementation of corrective actions if needed.
• To secure that every part of response has been Export Control reviewed and Defense Secrecy reviewed.
• To manage risk and opportunity analysis associated with the product offer.
• To ensure that the sub product offers are harmonized.
• To ensure a consistent approach to product offer development resulting in a Proposal Management Plan that addresses and involves bid stakeholders.
• To ensure the product offer is aligned with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• To generate business value by implementing effective methods business intelligence solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times in cooperation with Digital transformation Office and Growth transformation Office
• To improve our tools processes and ways of working related to our product offering

You will be part of a bid team and report to Head Product Management & Business Solution where your business acumen leadership and strategic thinking will be invaluable.

Your profile

You have a structured way of working and driven by delivering on time and strive for success. You hold an university degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
You have a business understanding and the ability to work with new ways of working to create new solutions. Your daily work requires you to align business understanding with system knowledge in order to achieve results. You share Saabs values and culture hence serving as a promotor for Surveillance Together as one culture.

To qualify for the role we see that you have a very good knowledge regarding:

• Project management
• Cost calculation tools
• Communication and presentation skills in both English and Swedish
• Risk management
• Classification and security management
• Collaborating cross functional through well practiced communications and leadership skills
• Price calculations

Preferably you also have knowledge of:

• Export control legislation and processes
• Product Unit Giraffe xA product portfolio
• Commercial terms and their aspects on the content
• Saab business plan and future priorities
• Drive You thrive working in a fast-paced environment where different challenges could be presented every day that you will have to overcome.
• Trust You have a strong leadership ability functioning as an aspiration to teach and present out work towards different stakeholders.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
