Position: Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Vascular Surgery
Location: Hyannis MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 09:00 AM 05:00 PM
Pay Rate: $56$65/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled RN or LPN to provide clinical and administrative support in a vascular surgery clinic. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care assist clinicians during procedures and contribute to a collaborative patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clinicians during surgical and clinical procedures
Provide direct patient care under supervision
Manage daily schedules and patient flow for efficiency
Greet and escort patients to exam rooms
Obtain and document vital signs
Perform medication reconciliation and maintain accurate clinical records in EMR
Assist with department-specific procedures and diagnostic testing
Educate patients on exam preparation and visit updates
Maintain exam rooms clean equipment and manage clinical supplies
Administer routine injections under physician delegation
Answer and triage telephone calls coordinate care and address patient concerns
Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in meetings/training
Provide clerical support including scheduling registration and record management
Implement clinician orders for testing and procedures (e.g. EKGs dressing changes spirometry Holter monitors)
Provide patient and family education based on evidence-based practices
Float to other clinic locations as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications RN:
Current Massachusetts RN license
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
Strong communication interpersonal and time management skills
Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
Surgical experience required
Qualifications LPN:
Current Massachusetts LPN license
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
Surgical experience required
