Job Description:

Major Job Functions

• Execute component repair or exchange
• Identify warranty work order management
• Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics
• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
• Complete technical documentation (service reports warranty crossover notes)
• Interact with internal and external customers
• Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required

**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**

Specific Skills & Experience

• Journeyperson Ticket considered an asset
• Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Preference for previous engine or powertrain rebuild experience
• Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset

• Diesel Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
• Previous engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

Important Details:

• This is a position based out of our Kamloops facility
• 7 x 7 (Wednesday through Tuesday) Continuous Shift

• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
• Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
