Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior CAD Technician in our rapidly growing Perth or Inverness offices whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. At AECOM were at the forefront of innovation delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients. These include Scottish Waters SR27 programme a multi-billion pound transformation of Scotlands water and wastewater infrastructure over the period to 2033 with a possible extension to 2039.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects spanning the breadth of the water industry and support a talented and experienced team committed to innovation and efficiency.

Heres what youll do:

• Contribute ideas and work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to develop efficient solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Play an active part in our team supporting others and encouraging the development of junior team members.
• Apply a sound understanding of engineering principles to support the preparation of engineering designs and to produce accurate AutoCAD drawings and models.
• Deliver high quality outputs in line with project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible

Heres what were looking for:

• Experience in an engineering design environment doing structural design and detailing - such as reinforced concrete detailing.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD. 
• A proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to technical excellence and a strong focus on client satisfaction.
