Job Summary

Are you passionate about advancing RNA technologies and shaping the future of medicine At Miltenyi Biotec within our R&D Reagents Department you will play a key role in evaluating and implementing next-generation chemical cell transfection platforms to accelerate RNA-based therapies.

Your Role

  • Focus on developing lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations as well as purification and characterization methods .
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of innovative chemical cell transfection technologies.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team working on chemical modifications of LNPs and conducting cell-based functional assays.
  • Independently plan and execute experiments with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Analyze experimental data and present your findings in internal group and interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Biochemistry Molecular Biology or a related field ideally complemented by relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience in LNP preparation cell culture techniques transfection and cellbased analytical methods such as flow cytometry or functional assays.
  • Solid understanding of RNA technologies and standard molecular biology techniques.
  • Knowledge of lipid chemistry and analytical methods (e.g. DLS fluorescence spectroscopy UV spectroscopy HPLC MS) is an advantage.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities paired with excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in crosscultural teams; fluency in English and working proficiency in German.
