Quality Control Specialist (Registered Chemist)

The Quality Control Specialist is part of the Feeds Operations division - Quality Management Department. The primary objective of this role is to execute quality control plans and initiativesincluding monitoring raw materials and finished goods managing chemicals and equipment and ensuring safetyto achieve zero complaints operational cost-efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Management: Implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with country and group policies to ensure consistency and traceability.

Quality Control Execution: Ensure the consistency of raw materials and finished products through laboratory analysis verify laboratory methods and manage chemical hygiene and equipment.

Laboratory Safety: Execute regulatory requirements for chemical laboratories ensuring a safe and organized environment and reporting any safety or quality issues.

Testing & Analysis: Perform physical chemical and instrumental analyses assist in sample preparation and coordinate testing for new ingredients and products.

Supplier QA: Support supplier audits and performance evaluations implementing corrective actions based on analysis results.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Production Nutrition Procurement Sales) to resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and submit analysis results regulatory filings and certifications required for product registration and market access.

SAP Support: Ensure accurate task execution in SAP provide user support and troubleshooting for SAP applications and collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Agricultural Chemistry or any related science field.

License: Must be a licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician.

Experience: At least three (3) years of work experience in a chemical laboratory.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of QMS regulatory requirements and laboratory safety (5S GLP). Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ERP project implementation is a plus.

Soft Skills: Intermediate communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
