What you will do:
Fulfill a 1.0 FTE; full-time salaried position
Support nursing education competency and professional development for RNs in the Neonatal ICU including our Neonatal Transport Team
Act as a change agent and advocate while participating in both unit-based and system-wide improvement work and projects
Collaborate with great teams: NICU Leadership Teams (Director Manager Professional Development Nurse Quality Improvement Nurse)
Large group of 40 Professional Development Nurses
What you need:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Masters degree in Nursing required within 5 years
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
3-4 years of relevant RN experience in NICU
Skills that willhelp you be successful in this role include leadership professionalism organization accountability and collaboration
Basic Life Support CPR for Health Care Providers
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NPR) and Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers. Ideal candidate will hold Neonatal Nursing Certifications in any of these areas: Transport General/Regular NICU Extremely low Birth Rate S.T.A.B.L.E or Neonatal Orientate and Education Program (NOEP).
