Job Summary

Job Title: MRI Technologist Acute Care
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Shift: Overnight 12:00 AM 8:00 AM
Schedule: 5 Days/Week (35 Hours) Alternating Weekends & Holidays Required

Pay Rates:

Local: $50.00 $62.00/hr Weekly: Up to $2170
Travel: $55.00 $70.00/hr (including stipends) Weekly: Up to $2450

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join an acute care team in Elmhurst NY. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and has advanced proficiency with GE MRI equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Imaging Excellence: Perform high-quality MRI scans ensuring patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
Equipment Operation: Operate GE MRI scanners with advanced knowledge and precision.
Patient Safety: Screen patients for contraindications and adhere strictly to MRI safety protocols.
Documentation: Document patient information and imaging results using EPIC EMR.
Workflow Coordination: Manage overnight imaging workflow and collaborate with the ER and inpatient floors for urgent scans.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
Associates degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License.
Current MRI registration with ARRT or ARMRIT.
Proficiency with GE imaging equipment and EPIC EMR.

Preferred:

BLS certification (American Heart Association).
