Your part in our St Stephens team
As part of ourCasual Pool you will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to deliver safe and holistic care to individuals and their families applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment foroptimalpatient addition to this you will:
Deliver exceptional person-centredcare by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Apply sound clinicalpracticewhichensuresa safe environment andpromotesoptimalpatient health.
Effectively exchange information with the Registered Nurseregardingpatient responses to treatment and nursing care.
Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management.
Achieveoptimumpatient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care.
Achievesoptimalpatient outcomes throughappropriate allocationof staff and delegation of work and effective communication skills.
What makes a difference for us
Diploma of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration with a minimum of12 monthspost-graduate experience withinan acute hospital setting
Experience in one or more of the following clinical areas: General Medical/Surgical High Dependency/Cardiac Rehabilitation
Full Australian Working Rights (please note we are unable to provide sponsorshipat this time)
Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster withdemonstratedknowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
