We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Drop In Coach at Rediscovery Independent Living! We are an independent living program that houses young men and women ages 18 to 24 years old in small efficient-type apartments or shared living housing. Our program is designed to support the youth we serve as they become successful and productive community members.
Schedule: This position is part-time including night and weekend shifts.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
We Provide The Training So That:â
- Provide support for the individuals we serve by dropping in in their independent apartment setting to help ensure compliance with program rules
- Help maintain a safe independent living apartment by providing searches for contraband that are not allowed in our programs.
- Provide crisis management if there were to be a crisis during a visit to one of the individuals we serve.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with older at-risk youth and young adults (17-23 y.o.) preferred.
- Residential program or mental health program experience required; experience working with specialized populations of adolescents required.
- At JRI you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our youth!
- Must have an active drivers license.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
