We are currently seeking a 1 day a weekposition for an Audiologistto join our team at PattonState Hospitallocated in Highland California.

$53.00 Per Hour

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm (1 day per week)

Under the direction of the Assistant Chief of Education the Audiologist is responsible for administering diagnostic tests to identify residents with hearing impairments determining the nature and extent of hearing disorders and providing individual and group habilitative and rehabilitative services. Responsibilities also include preparation of reports and summaries on diagnosis prognosis progress and recommendations for assignedcases. The Audiologist confers with teachers parents and employees regarding progress and treatment and trains them in therapeutic procedures and methods of motivation. This role may also supervise the work of Audiologist License Applicants.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice audiology in California as determined by the Speech Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee of the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance required
Masters degree in audiology or equivalent field as defined by the Speech Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee
Dispensing license preferred
